Our Drivers

The most important part of our business is you or your loved ones safety!!! We believe that our seniors and children are the two most important people in this world. For one, our seniors raised us to be leaders and impart wisdom onto us. On the other hand, we aspire to raise our children to be upright citizens and future leaders in this world.

HOW DRIVERS ARE ASSIGNED

We carefully align our drivers to our client’s individual profile. Since trust is one of our core values, we try as much as possible to assign and maintain the same driver throughout helping to establish rapport. We also encourage an initial client consultation between the driver and the client before the official ride begins.

In addition, our drivers must pass a highly selective comprehensive screening process which must be adhered to and/or maintained on a regular basis.

THE 14-POINT DRIVER CONFIRMATION PROCESS:

  1. Age 23 or older;
  2. Valid Driver’s License;
    (We will receive a copy upon our initial meeting to confirm their identity)
  3. Good Driving Record;
    (We will receive their driving record and continue to retrieve it on an ongoing basis)
  4. Fingerprinting;
  5. No Criminal or Sex Offender Record;
    (We will do an extensive background check legally permissible at the county, state and federal levels using the driver’s residences within the last seven years to include also the sex offender database)
  6. Owns or leases a 4-door vehicle not more than 10 years old seating 4-7 passengers;
    (We will keep a copy of the driver’s vehicle registration, photo of the car and license plate and we will do our due diligence to confirm all things match)
  7. Pass a 21-point Virginia vehicle inspection by a certified mechanic;
    (We confirm the inspection matches the car that they are driving)
  8. Continuous Safety Training Class;
  9. CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certified;
  10. In-person meeting with a member of RIDESportation’s team;
  11. Complete in-person driver orientation;
  12. Has personal auto insurance coverage that meets or exceeds state-required limits;
  13. Adopts the RIDESportation, LLC RuleBook ; and
  14. Adopts RIDESportation, LLC Zero Tolerance Policy .
